3 answers are correct. Easy
Show answer
Answer
- B Hiding records (typically via the field hidden)
- C Controlling visibility over time with a start and end time
- E Restricting visibility to certain frontend user groups
Explanation
enablecolumns knows the keys disabled, starttime, endtime and fe_group, each of whose values points to a field of the table, e.g. 'disabled' => 'hidden'. These fields mainly control visibility in the frontend: TypoScript objects such as CONTENT, Extbase repositories and the QueryBuilder automatically filter out records that are hidden, not yet started or expired. Since v13.3 TYPO3 creates the corresponding database columns itself. Marking records as deleted is a separate option (ctrl.delete), and manual sorting is controlled by ctrl.sortby.
