1 answer is correct. Easy

Show answer

Answer

  • A Create a new task in the scheduler and select the command directly as the task type in the task wizard

Explanation

Symfony commands are "schedulable" by default: TYPO3 v14 lists every schedulable command as its own task type in the new task wizard, grouped by the prefix before the colon, so cache:flush appears in the "cache" group. The command's arguments and options can then be set in the task form. In older versions you selected the generic task "Execute console commands" and then picked the command from a list. A custom task using exec() would be unnecessary and error-prone.
