1 answer is correct. Easy

Show answer

Answer

  • B A dedicated view in the TYPO3 backend that is opened from the module menu on the left, e.g. Layout or Records

Explanation

A backend module is a working view for editors or administrators that appears in the backend's module menu. Core modules such as Layout, Records, Media or Users are themselves nothing more than registered modules. Extensions can add their own modules, for example an overview of bookings or an import tool. Do not confuse this with a frontend plugin: a plugin is inserted as a content element on a page and is visible to website visitors, while a module is only available to logged-in backend users.
