Which PHP versions does TYPO3 v14 support?

TYPO3 v14 requires at least PHP 8.2 and, according to the official overview on get.typo3.org, supports versions up to PHP 8.5. The minimum version is also stated in the core's composer.json as "php": "^8.2". PHP 8.1 is no longer sufficient because the core uses language features of newer PHP versions; anyone coming from TYPO3 v12 may therefore have to update PHP first. It is important that the PHP version on the server's command line matches as well, because Composer and commands such as vendor/bin/typo3 cache:flush run there.
