1 answer is correct. Easy

Show answer

Answer

  • D Extensions can react to core processes or modify data at defined points without changing core code

Explanation

PSR-14 is a PHP standard for event dispatchers, and TYPO3 uses it as its main extension mechanism: at defined points the core creates an event object and passes it to all registered listeners. This way an extension can, for example, add values before a record is saved or post-process the finished page without touching a single core file. Events have largely replaced the older hooks and signals/slots. PSR-14 events have nothing to do with caching or JavaScript events in the browser – the word "event" is easily misleading here.
